Primary is not a calling I'm very familiar with. My only previous calling in primary has been pianist. Since moving to this ward almost a year ago Ben as I have been teachers in junior primary. We ALWAYS laugh and hear funny things.
Today a member of the presidency taught about keeping Sunday holy with this example: She put some ice cream in a bowl and asked the kids if they liked toppings on their sundaes. Of course all te kids said YES! She then pulled out ketchup and mustard and poured them on. Primary got really loud! Even the sunbeams knew that was pretty gross. She told the kids how there were things that didn't go on Sunday....:)
Then all the kids got to draw a picture of good things to do on Sunday. These were my favorite (remember, all from junior primary): A princess, a werewolf, ice cream, and go to the hotel!! There were lots of really good answers that showed that most of the kids were listening and understood, but I love all the innocence and happiness that usually fills primary.
Every week we get some pretty fun stories in class too - you can't imagine what sunbeams tell us about their families, unless of course you've had this calling too! ;)

My first calling after college was teaching 7 Sunbeams. They were histerical! Almost weekly I was given a rundown of new toys, rewards and totally random facts. Sunbeams and Nursery will always be my favorite callings just because of those sweet and innocent kiddos. Oh the things kids say.
