Summer in California

So, Ben left to Chicago for four days...he didn't even get to do anything super-fun except sleep in a big, comfy bed all by himself and not wake up from children crying even once during the night! And then he was taken out to eat several times at some really nice places and tried lobster for the first time (I'm a little sad I missed that!), but he missed all the fun, craziness of my life that week!
Trent, Tyler, and I all went down to California for that time - with the assistance of my Mom, fortunately! - and had a great time! I really didn't want to do the drive there or back, but with my sisters help and the adult conversation and perspective from my Mom, it was really great and I loved it! Trent keeps talking about Granddaddy's work with the mean guy (which of course is Scandia with the mechnical man at the "shooting range"!) and getting to play with Grandpa's toys and kittys. So funny what they remember.
