Trenton

Trenton has recently started asking me for "fun things to do, Mom". Usually I start laughing and that gets us started on the wrong foot...I have to try and choke it back. He's just so cute! Today we painted and two days ago I set him up with the iPod filled with books on tape and kids songs and let him have at it. We've done this before, but he really got into it and was laughing and talking to himself. It was hilarious!
Trenton now actually says the word "fish". It still comes out funny, but at least it's not merely the sound a fish makes! :)
And Trent has started staying dry during the night...I'm sure he'll love reading this years from now! We told him we would take him to the "train store" aka Toys R Us if he stayed dry a certain number of nights. Yesterday we got to go because he made it. While I think it's merely by chance, at least he's thinking about it when he wakes up.
I love him so much. Today he said, "Mom, Dad is getting us lots and lots of money today!" He really wanted Dad to come home, but was trying to make himself feel better about why he was gone. It's funny how guys just understand money all the same.
