Keeping Busy

This week we've gotten better, had haircuts, a picnic at the park, fed the ducks, went to Krispy Kreme to watch how the donuts are made, went to lunch at Ben's work, had family in town, and went to a wedding. I love that Ben will cut all the hair...he taught himself how to cut his own hair on his mission and has been making sure all the heads stay looking great ever since! Hair cutting days at our house are so much fun! Mostly it's a lot of crying - mainly from Trenton who doesn't like the hair on any part of his body and won't wear anything to keep it off. It's great! I end up doing all the baths and getting all that hair off of them provides lots of laughs for Ben & me. Oh, boys! Letting Trenton brush the hair off of himself really helps! Tyler's just amused with a yogurt cup and lid!

Friday we had lunch at Ben's work. They used to just order a lot of pizza and put everyone in one big room, but they have since built a restaurant inside their plant. It is really nice and so we all had food from there. It was nice to sit at a beautiful table and even have a highchair for Tyler. Of course Trenton loved all the goodies he was able to pick up since the whole point of the day is to show the family what is happening at work and have little treats and prizes for the kids to win. It is always a lot of fun and something Trenton begs to do again after every time. I'm pretty sure Trent thinks that Ben just eats good food and cotton candy all day at "work"! :)
After we got home my family arrived in town for a quick visit, okay it was just for Hal's wedding, but it was nice to get to see them for a bit! Hopefully we'll get to spend a little more time with them again soon.
